The rain came in

fast and furious

Then left as quickly as it came

Robins- singing their thanks

for the bounty that was forced up

Into the light of day

It was so intense

This desperate fight for survival

Each wanting to live.

I love that an entire house

can fit into a raindrop.

Tenacious little sprout.

Refuses to be told "no."

Fresh from the shower.

The garden was beaconing.

Who needs to be clean?

Stretching

Asparagus frond

Finished with it's yearly chore

Stretches to the sky

good morning sunshine!

Up, up, comes the sun

Rising above the rooftops

Showering us all
